Who are the Mavericks?
Facilitated by Music Fusion, The Mavericks are a team of young people, a series of award winning albums, documentaries and live performances, plus a network of young people's recording studios across the UK. Our aim is to let young people know that they always have choices… other than crime and violence. We help our young people to use their stories / music to help inspire others.
What is Mavericks HomeTown?
HomeTown is the 10th album from Music Fusion’s Mavericks Team. When we asked them what the theme should be for this album, they all said, “We need to focus on our home town”. So this year the Mavericks are kindly funded by the OPCC and will focus on the Portsmouth postcode and surrounding areas. This time instead of waiting a whole year for the album, our young people plan a series of regular music and video releases.
